  2. I'm sorry someone colored (get it??? HA) your vision of Kaffe for way too long. As I think I've said, I love exuberant color and he's the master of that! I loved his first book about knitting and knew I'd never be able to do anything so fabulous. Then quilting. OMG. Such wonderful pieces of eye candy. His needlework makes me think I need to get into that too. So glad you got to go to this. Did you like him?

  3. Jean - I Googled Kaffe's name, saw the website, read the Wikipaedia bio and headed to the library to check out the 3 books of his that they have. Thank you for introducing me to a color genius! I hope you enjoyed the lecture, learned some new things and maybe even had time to chat with him - lucky you. Thanks for including the Shard photos - I began watching it online while under construction and love the building. My son's company has designed 20 Fenchurch St., the 'Walkie Talkie' building - now I'm watching that go ahead. Jeanne

Jeanne- how exciting! The Shard is incredible whether from near or afar- can't wait to go up it when I have the money- it is crazy expensive
